This week we have been doing a lot with color theory. We talked about Joseph Albers and all his crazy experiments with color and how your eye perceives color. It was really incredible what can be done with a certain number of colors and how colors interact with each other. It is so amazing how your eye sees and interprets things accurately, but also not how they truly are. We did some activities with the Coloraid paper and tried to make three colors appear to be two colors and stuff like that. I wasn't that great at it.. but it was still kinda cool.
I am an art student at Maggie Walker and this is the place where I talk about what we're making and what we're learning... Through this I can pour out my heart about my artistic experience.
